Humans have been extinct for years, a fatal sickness wiping out everyone. Cars line the streets, houses are still standing, but it's all vacant...
But if you are quick enough, you might catch a glimpse of the wolves that now roam the streets of New York City. Chaos is slowly building up, tensions are rising, and the packs may soon find themselves at war with each other. The loners and rouges are caught in the middle, forced to choose a side, or face certain death. There is no escaping the chaos this time...
Who will come out on top? Or will all the packs descend into chaos and kill eachother off?
I warn you friend, watch you step...

Welcome all the new members. :) All the packs need members, and we also need advertisers. I also changed the form, because some of you were having problems with the coding.
Yes, roleplaying CAN start now if you all want to roleplay with one another, and all the packs (including loners/rouges) are accepting members. I am also making posting templates for anyone who would like one. PM me (display name: kdrod95, username: admin) if you would like a template for you character. You will have to provide the images if you want any yourself, but I can code you a scroll box or a nice table if you tell me what you want. The example I coded for toxic can be found in the testing thread page 1.
Click a pack name to view all its info and members.
If a pack name has a * in front of it, that means that the pack is NOT currently accepting ANY members.
I'm an -insert an appropriate age here- girl living in New York. Most call me kdrod or krod, and I am a dog lover. I am a Mets fan as well as being a Jets fan, and my hobbies include coding, reading, roleplaying, lurking, sleeping and playing with my dog. I'm on the computer a bit too much for my own good. :P Don't be afraid to PM me if you need help with anything.

Alpha
The leaders of the pack. The alphas word is law. Usually, when an alphas offspring (the one that will fill the spot when current alpha dies) takes a mate, then his or her mate will also become alpha if or when the alphas pup becomes alpha.
Beta
Betas help the alpha run the pack. If the alpha is not around, the beta9s0 are in charge. Betas are selected by the alpha when the alpha finds a pack-born wolf that is trustworthy, loyal and a wolf that can help with running a pack and possibly even take over if the alpha has no offspring.
Gamma
These wolves have done something major fro the pack (Saving a litter of puppies, saving the pack from something, etc.) These wolves are well-respected by the other pack members for what they have done.
Delta
Deltas are usually the ones to go to if you have a problem with a pack member. They have good social skills and are often the ones to choose which pup gets which mentors.
Epsilon
These wolves are highly skilled in their duties. Whether it be hunting, fighting, healing or something else, they are often sought out for advice even by the higher ranking wolves. They often get chosen as mentors for pups. Most are either hunters, fighters, scouts or healers.
Zeta
This rank includes all the wolves that have completed their training in whatever skill they chose. They are the subordinates of the pack. Zeta wolves also act as pup-sitters for the pups that need to be looked after if their parents are out hunting or doing their duty. Most are hunters, fighters, scouts or healers.
Theta
Theta wolves are in training for whatever skill they desire until they show enough proficiency to be promoted to Zeta rank.
Omega
The Omegas are wolves that have done something bad to the pack. (traitors, spys from another pack, etc.) Though they can also be prisoners and are kept under a close watch by v the pack wolves. They are not allowed to hunt, attend any pack meetings or pack hunts and are usually confined somewhere in the packs territory with wolves rotating as guards.
Birth
Wolves are born with their eyes and ears open. They are born with blue eyes, though those that will develop dark eyes tend to have darker blue eyes. The cubs are unable to regulate their body temperature and require their mother be close by at all times. They cannot communicate anything but discomfort.
2 weeks
The cubs begin to walk and move around. They still have weak eyes, but they can be started on regurgitated meat. They still require their mother's milk to ensure correct development.
3 weeks
The cubs start to develop better eyesight. Their ears start to stand up and their teeth start to grow in.
4 weeks
The cubs are able to speak and run. They are allowed to play just outside the den area. They still require milk, but their mother is able to leave them for long stretches of time to return to her duties. Still requiring supervision, the pups are watched by either their father or a volunteering Zeta.
6 weeks
The cubs begin to be weaned. They are given permission to explore the entire wolf denning site. They are started on solid food. Dominance and rank within the litter becomes apparent, with the pups with the strongest personalities being the leaders or the bullies.
2 months
The pups are either completely weaned or almost weaned, but are still brought pre-killed meals. Their eyes slowly begin to change to their adult colors. They are allowed to leave the den site when accompanied by an adult wolf.
4 months
Pups are taught the basics of hunting small animals during this time. Their milk teeth fall out and begin to be replaced, ushering in the teething period of sore gums.
6 months
Cubs reach half a year of age and are completely weaned if they have not been yet. Many start to consider their future and a few early bloomers commit to a duty. The wolves start to lose their puppy fur as well as experience a growth spurt that gives them a lanky adolescent build.
1 year
Most wolves choose a duty, starting off in the Theta rank. They begin to look indistinguishable from adult wolves save for their naivety and youthful energy. Bone growth ends around this time.
2 years
Wolves reach sexual maturity around this time and are able to mate. Wolves also complete their training during this time and are promoted to Zeta rank.
